I did it: I came out as a short-haired person at work today. I am still not used to being told I look cute however - I've never been the kind of girl people praised as cute (smart, or tall, or something, sure, but never cute).

When I whacked all of my hair off (albeit, by choice), I felt that way for a long time, too.
