Mini-spring

Muddy, warm, breezy. So far no sign of spring bulb shoots. J fixed kebabs on the grill yesterday. I went home at lunchtime to open a window. I'm IGNORING the doomsayers talking about a Friday-Saturday storm. IGNORING, you hear me?

There are daffodil shoots in my neighborhood that are 4" high, buds on the trees, and two doublefist-sized clumps of snowdrops next to one of the law buildings. You may have them as signs if you like. ;)

And I've had two days of mud-covered children in a row. That counts, even if they'll not be able to do it during the snow, it will happen again, and soon!
