I did my best

to get Police tickets. Sigh. Just not willing to pay $225 for the Field Reserved section, and Ticketmaster thinks all other sections for both shows are sold out.
Fenway's a beautiful place on a summer evening, but it's so darn small!

I thought the police were supposed to *protect* you from robbery!

This group just wants to catch you in a Sting operation

I think I will have to be satisfied with having seen them the first go round :o(

Good lord, how old were you?? Twelve?

Well...it was 1985 or 1986. So, yup, I would have been 11 or 12 :o)

I still have the t-shirt somewhere.

I saw them in 1983 too, in Montreal, when I was 17. The lineup was Stevie Ray Vaughn, Peter Tosh, The Talking Heads, and The Police. Tickets were $30! What a show ...

Wait. Don't be surprised if another show, the night before or the night after, is scheduled at the Tweeter Center.

Waiting. I'd go to Tweeter, or Gillette, DCU Worcester, Manchester, perhaps Hartford.

Well, that means there'll be good reason to have "Don't Stand So Close to Me" as the encore :)

I didn't even bother trying for tickets - they're too big a band to expect anything but astronomical prices.
