EKU

Public Service Announcement:
The problem has been escalated via the chain of command.

Folks, please remember that the Hapless Autocrat isn't in a place where she can do much about it. AFAIK, she doesn't even have a complete list of teachers and their contact info. I wish she had been allowed to run the event completely, herself: we'd have ended up with a larger-scope version of the two really nifty scholae she did earlier. Instead, she's stuck between a kingdom officer who's not being helpful, and the large swath of teachers & students who need help and direction, for whom she can't do an awful lot.

The autocrat, [livejournal.com profile] tpau, is my protegee and I stand behind her.

Hi there,

I apologize if my commentaries of floundering on LJ, and inquiries of her on the status of the schedule have added to any undue stress. At the moment I am weighing whether or not I _should_ teach at EKU, not so much of because of not knowing where the schedule lies, but because of recent mundania issues that have left me feeling toasty in the last two weeks.

I will definitely get back to both of you tonight on this, and will run it past Jon about backing out of offering this class at EKU - with an option to run it at some future event. Currently, not breaking myself seems the wise choice, but I want to think it through tonight after work.

At the very least, I would still like to attend if at all possible.

Thank you....

Nope, it's not (only) you. Nor is it just a LiveJournal thing. It's people I've talked to at Falling Leaves and at Crown, and people emailing on the local list, and more.

I hate doing this, but it looks like I'm going to have to back out of teaching. With the stress issues I have been having lately, and the class handout being only half done, I don't want to rush things and present a hurried class together. I'm still working on the handout, so I can teach this at another time, but would like to slow things up and present a better class.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and hope everyone understands. (I'll still be at the event, as a student).
