oakleaf_mirror! I enjoyed it even though it's distinctly a middle book in a series. Could be #2 of 3, or #2 of 5, I can't tell.
Yet another woman spaceship captain. Ky thinks she's a merchanter, working for the family business, but when the Corporation is attacked, she has reason to turn privateer. I did wish we could see who the looming Other is, who has it in for Ky's family, and why, but so far they're just a mysterious and unnamed organization. Perhaps in the next volume.
