Kris is a space Marine. She's also both as insubordinate and as lucky as a Vorkosigan. I'm looking forward to the second volume.
It's something of a habit with me - I seem to pick up every woman-space-pilot or woman-space-Marine book. Not that surprising, since I keep enjoying them.
