25. Lioness Rampant, by Tamora Pierce. Book 4 of The Song of the Lioness.
Disappointing. I think it was ASDR who said that the series went downhill throughout, and I agree. I liked vols. 1 and 2, where Alanna was coming of age, and working to overcome the all-male corps of knighthood, but once she was knighted and went off on her own, I didn't feel invested in finding out what happened.
