I did it. I applied to that job on Monster that sounded so good. Not to jinx it or anything, but the last time I felt this good about a job match was when I applied to this place, back in '89, back when it really was a good match. This is one I don't have to fake selling myself to, it already matches my skill set (except for one program "Ledger" that I've never heard of).
Things may not work out for this opportunity, but that can happen -- at least it's got a lot of potential. Wish I knew what they think they'll be paying.

I wish everyone (employers and fellow employees) were less paranoid about talking about money. It's as if you want to buy a lightbulb but you won't know till you negotiate with the salesclerk. (yeah, or cars, of course. Just because it's common doesn't make it a good idea!)
