I want a Facebook response that is stronger than Ignore. It seems that if I get a friend request (or group invitation), my options are only Ignore and Accept. I want the equivalent of "no damn way."

Please see my response above to dlevey. I do not want to complain about my friends to the Facebook administration, or block their posts to me, I just want to make a point of not joining some of their interest groups/events. They're not violating the terms of service in any way and I do not want to banish them from my message page - I just disagree with them.

I'm just proposing that in my ideal world there should be a third option - Yes, Ignore(discard), and No.

I agree. Sometimes "ignore" is not enough and blocking isn't an option with someone you actually like. Though, I like a simple, "No Way In H*ll".

I like to think of them as "yes/no/you have GOT to be KIDDING".
