No waiting
There was no wait when I went -- crowds, yes, and a steady stream of people, but just two people ahead of me in the Precinct 1, Street M-Z line.
I dropped a couple bucks in the VFW fellows' box and got my poppy. Also spoke with a charming young lady (probably working on a Girl Scouts civics badge) who was campaigning to save a particular tract of our conservation land.
