I like Daylight Savings

I like having daylight when I get home after work. OK, I'm no fan of getting up in the dark, or today the twilight, of early morning, but I relish the light after work which means I can walk around my neighborhood, including the parts without sidewalks. I can even start to think about what I'll attempt with the garden this year, with that annual optimism that this year I'll keep up with all the maintenance. In the depths of winter, it's gloomy when I leave for work, and pitch-dark long before I get back, which is depressing and makes me want to hibernate with lots of heavy food.

(Reminder to marysdress: some time around mid-to-late April I would like to rent your eldest for a couple of afternoons. He should think about whether he's still interested in earning his way to more electronic toys, and what his rates would be.)
