Dangerous time-sucks

mermaidlady pointed out at dinner that Library Thing has started to give gold stars called Helper Badges to people who contribute data to the hive mind. Since they only began the program at the end of November, the stuff I added to Library Thing Local before then doesn't count. Now I want to go see what I could contribute further to supplement the info: more bookstores, cons, etc. NOT what I'm supposed to be doing today even though I am going to enjoy a snowed-in Sunday.
