You know it's weird because it feels more self-indulgent to stay home and do chores than to go to Cooks' Guild.

7 loads of laundry, including bedspread and mattress pad.
Moved scarves to drawer in closet, put jewelry in top dresser drawer.
Gathered 4 pr old eyeglasses to go to Lions Club.
Shredded a year's worth of Sears bills and a pile of "free checks" from Visa.
Emailed two housepainting services to request quotes (Recommendations or disrecommendations invited).
Put drain cleaner in kitchen sink.
Took OES jewel to jeweler.
Raked 1 bag of leaves from the gutter (at least 2 more to go)
First zone of spackling in the sewing room.
Took old cat box to storage.
Now about to go out to Home Depot and possibly Target. But first, a glass of water and a snack.
