Notes on the dayboard:

Overall a raging success - particularly due to the extraordinary efforts of Yeliz and her mother, as my serving/replenishing/setup team, and in advance by making chicken legs and boiled eggs. And Fu, cutting up fruit. And of course Constance, who always does far more than she should, but it's always valuable.

Constance's cheese also a serious success, even though it came out yogurty instead of mozzarella-y texture.

Budget blown all to Hades, haven't got all the receipts in yet, but running numbers in my head produces an unfortunately large number, which I can hopefully offset by "losing" a few receipts :)

Things we ran out of: black olives, the cute little dill pickles (gherkin size), grapes, lemonade. Things we oversupplied: marinated onions (again), apple pieces, butter, cider, onion soup. MUST remember that not everyone loves cider as much as I do. Should have bought 10 gal cider, not 20, but several more gallons of instant lemonade. Mushroom tarts v popular again, had several requests for leftovers to take home, but had none.
