Six degrees of the pope

I know the minister at Golden Hill church, Brian Schofield-Bodt.
Brian knows Richard Thornburg, who was a District Superintendent in the Methodist Church, CT-West region.
Richard is the twin brother of Robert Thornburg, formerly a dean of BU's Divinity School.
(and in fact, I've met both the Thornburgs, though they wouldn't remember me.)
Undoubtedly, the dean at a Boston theological school would know Cardinal Law.
And the Cardinal had an audience with the pope this morning.
