Ow!
Yesterday, I was perfectly innocently eating Wheat Thins with my lunch when I realized there was something unusually sharp against my cheek. Yep, broke a tooth. One of the back molars. Fortunately, the dentist could see me today. (I have a terrific dentist, it's too bad her office is 25 minutes away.)
The good news: she could put on a temporary crown right away, and the permanent one will be ready in three weeks. The bad news: crowns, as "restorative work," are covered only 50% by our insurance....

The cost of crowns is outrageous and my coverage isn't any better than yours. Unfortunately, a number of my fillings need to replaced with crowns... but not until I've got a job! ;-)
