Wanted: well-behaved cats

The project for the next eight days is to keep the cats quiet. Mostly, really, it's to keep Jez from being harrassed/chased by Jedi, and keep her from trying to lick or chew her stitches. Heh. Good thing [livejournal.com profile] jducoeur is working from home these days!

Yeeeeaaaahhhhhh..... Good luck with that.

A couple of years ago Nishka had a benign tumor removed from her front paw. She came home from the vet with instructions to "not let her run or jump, because she could pop the stitches. I ran all over the house making little "steps" up onto the furniture. Which she looked at, sniffed at, and then jumped up and down *next to.*

On the bright side, I haven't had a cat fuss at their stitches since about 1976. When we had Nishka spayed, there were no stitches - they superglued her back together. Neat!
