Some of my friends need to update their Amazon wish lists more often than every two years. Just sayin'. Now (pooooor me!) I'll have to go over to the bookstore and *guess.* Just as long as I don't buy more than one book for myself for every one I buy for someone else, I should be all right.

Oh, just buy yourself books. :-) It is the burden of the literati. :-)

Although, as I look at my unending pile of books which I already own, I begin to doubt the quality of my advice, and the quality of my sanity...

Amen! I'd also settle for a large LJ interests section so I have a better clue when guessing. (And while I'm at it, they should all have their book/cd/dvd/game inventories on-line so I don't get them something they already have).

You can do that? ("Well..., OK, maybe this one...oh no, wait, I really, really need this one too...and this one...") ;-)

I hit my local indy bookstore right after Thanksgiving. Came out with like $80 worth of books and NONE for me :^(. So sad.

BUT -- as I left the store I had a bunch of presents -- ALREADY WRAPPED!!!
